Ayurveda
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda, meaning knowledge, or science of life, is a 5000-year-old holistic approach to wellbeing. In Ayurveda, disorders are understood as an imbalance of the doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), a weakening of the digestive fire, and the accumulation of toxins in the body, all of which disrupt overall harmony. Ayurvedic treatment focuses on addressing the root cause by restoring balance, improving digestion, and detoxifying the body to enhance holistic wellbeing. Ayurveda aims not only to alleviate symptoms but also to bring the body back to balance and improve quality of life by managing root causes and achieving a sustained state of equilibrium.

Faye’s journey into Ayurveda began with a profound desire to help others heal naturally through a holistic approach to wellbeing. This passion was inspired by a 14-year struggle with complex chronic illness, including severe chronic fatigue, during which Faye intuitively healed herself through dietary and lifestyle changes. Recognizing the parallels between her healing journey and the principles of Ayurveda, she dedicated herself to studying this ancient medical system to assist others in their wellbeing so they too can thrive.
She is committed to inspiring others and offering natural solutions for restoring health, bringing a wealth of expertise to her Ayurvedic consultations through her background as a senior specialist neonatal nurse, along with training and experience in NLP and coaching.
Incorporating coaching approaches into her Ayurvedic consultations, Faye blends her extensive experience, knowledge, and skills to offer a unique holistic experience, guiding you as you work towards your wellbeing goals through the principles of Ayurveda; including digestion and nutrition. With the foundation of Ayurveda at the heart of her work, Faye offers personalised, holistic consultations that support balance, energy, and overall wellbeing, drawing on her lived experience, clinical insight, and a range of holistic approaches to guide each client with compassion and care.
Her Ayurvedic services continue to evolve to meet a wide range of needs, from overall wellbeing and balance clinics to her newest offering: Rest & Restore. Created as a dedicated space to pause, replenish, and restore, Faye’s Rest & Restore Clinic draws on Ayurvedic principles to promote deep rest and rejuvenation. Through focused rest and restoration sessions, Faye offers specialist, personalised support to help you nurture vitality, sustain balance, and build lasting self-care routines tailored to your unique constitution to improve sleep and energy.

“I worked with Faye over the course of around 6 months and she supported me with my recovery from severe fatigue and migraines which arose in the aftermath of an infection. She took a detailed history and identified and reinforced the approaches I was already taking to help myself. She went on to identify the aspects of what I was doing which were counter productive, using the lens of Ayurvedic wisdom to help to identify and explain how some dietary and lifestyle habits might support others but due to my constitution might be counter productive for me. She created an individualised plan including dietary and lifestyle modification, herbs and spiritual practice and reviewed me at regular intervals, building the plan as my recovery evolved. All the while, Faye brought her own unique brand of bright, loving awareness, deep listening, intuitive insight, and a profound and genuine compassion. I found her support and suggestions nurturing, helpful and healing and I'm so happy that she is offering her gifts to the world”
