Sports Massage at our Norwich clinic in NR3 is not just for athletes competing in events and competitions. Anyone can benefit from sports massage – including people in physically demanding jobs like tradespeople, as well as those who enjoy physical activity like working out in the gym, taking fitness classes, walking the dog, or running.
Sports Massage helps to alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues, using concentrated, firm pressure and specific techniques. Helping to maintain or improve range of motion and muscle flexibility. It can help to reduce discomfort and can speed up the healing process for conditions such as: contracted fibres, inflammation, sprains and strains. Soft tissue techniques are used to aid management and recovery from acute or chronic muscular conditions/injuries.
Pre-event and post-event Sports Massage is typically used before, during and after a physical activity or an Sport event. It is tailored to your needs depending your event or physical activity.

Vicki started her career as a Massage Therapist at Neal’s Yard Remedies Treatment Rooms over 20 years ago, after qualifying in Holistic and Remedial Massage in at the Alison Rostron School of Massage in Norwich. But over many years Vicki has gone on to qualify and gain so much more experience, learning many other different types of Massage, Reflexology and even Hopi Ear Candling.
In 2016 Vicki diversified by qualifying in ITEC Diploma's levels 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy with The Norwich School of Beauty, and enjoys the Beauty Treatments most that are combined with massage like facials and skincare treatments.
For seven years Vicki did on-site Massage Treatments at the head office of Virgin Money in Norwich. To help improve staff well-being, reduce absenteeism and help to alleviate work stress, tension and help ease muscular aches & pains, as part of their employee company healthcare benefits. Vicki also assisted hundreds of staff members that trained to run the Virgin Money London Marathon by doing regular sports massages, which helped everyone of them to get over the finishing line and receive their medals.
Over Vicki's vast Therapy career she has worked self-employed at other Health & Wellbeing Clinics, and Treatment Rooms in Norwich and joined Treat Health & Wellbeing Clinic in 2016.

David is accredited with an ITEC Level 3 & 4 qualifications in Sports Massage and IPHM Advanced Deep Tissue Massage, Since qualifying David has spent time building a private client base as well as working in corporate spaces, and various holistic venues across the region.
More recently in 2024 David qualified in Chinese Cupping Therapy. This traditional Chinese practice uses suction to release muscle tension, boost circulation and support recovery.
David is passionate about fitness and has played a variety of sports throughout his life, and it is this along with his professional training that has given David his comprehensive understanding of the anatomical structure of the body, the nature of sports injury and recovery, and the everyday postural issues we all live with.
