Indian Head Massage
A seated massage concentrating on the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and face. You can experience the massage through your clothes or your top garments can be removed and for ladies a toweling sarong covers your upper half to allow oil to be massaged into your skin.
Indian Head Massage works on the main areas of the upper body affected by mental and emotional stress. It helps to improve circulation in the head, which can encourage hair growth. Aiding relaxation, improving memory and promoting clearer thinking. A variety of massage techniques are used to help ease tight muscles, loosen adhesion’s and improve movement. Grasping and pull backs is a soft tissue mobilisation technique which helps to release tight neck muscles and increase range of movement. Also can give relief from tension headaches/migraines, eye strain, TMJ and nasal congestion's. Helps to create a more balanced state of mind during and after the treatment.
Indian Head Massage
A lying down Indian Head Massage is a totally relaxing massage concentrating on the back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face.
A variety of massage and stretching movements are used to release tension accumulated in the muscles, tissues and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders along with acupressure techniques that are applied to stimulate specific energy points in these areas. This helps release toxins from tense and knotted muscles, reduces jaw ache, stimulates lymphatic drainage and improves oxygen flow to the brain to reduce stress and fatigue and improve mental clarity and focus.
Massaging the scalp may also improve hair condition, as the greater circulation increases the number of red blood cells in the scalp which nourish the hair follicles. A variety of oils can also be incorporated into an Indian Head Massage to further condition the hair and skin.
Before your massage treatment it is very helpful if you remove any hair bands, clips or slides from your hair. I would suggest you bring a brush or comb with you, so you can tidy your hair after your treatment.

Vicki started her career 18 years ago as a Massage Therapist at Neal’s Yard Remedies Treatment Rooms, after qualifying in Holistic and Advanced Massage in 2006 at the Alison Rostron School of Massage in Norwich.
Over her career Vicki has worked self-employed at other Health & Wellbeing Clinics in Norwich and joined the team at Treat in 2016, to work alongside highly professional like-minded practitioners. She loves being part of a Health & Wellbeing Clinic that gives a high level of holistic care to all of it's clients. And where you can cross-refer to other practitioners in the same profession to give the clients the best possible care.
For seven years Vicki did on-site Massage Treatments at the head office of Virgin Money in Norwich. To help improve staff well-being as part of their employee company healthcare benefits, which helped to alleviate work stress and tension. Vicki also assisted hundreds of staff members that trained to run the Virgin Money London Marathon by doing regular sports massages, which helped everyone of them to get over the finishing line and receive their medals.
In 2016 Vicki diversified qualifying with ITEC Diploma's levels 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy with The Norwich School of Beauty, and has carried on learning new beauty therapy skills but always comes back to her love of massage.
Vicki has spent many years enhancing on her range and types of therapies, continually improving her knowledge so she can offer new and existing clients the best possible care!
