Pregnancy Massage
Prenatal massage techniques and positioning are tailored through the stages of your pregnancy to help ensure comfort, safety, relaxation and the well-being of you and your baby.
There is no set routine as the massage is changed and adapted to fit your specific requirements on the day of your massage, catering for what you want and need. You will lye on the massage couch on your side with the support of pillows. So no pressure is put on major blood vessels as it can disrupt blood flow to your baby and leave you feeling nauseous. If you are required to lay on your back to massage a specific area of the body, you will be inclined with cushions and this will be for a maximum of fifteen minutes.
A Pregnancy Massage can help to relieve minor ailments associated with pregnancy such as achy legs, hips, shoulders and lower back pain. Regular massage throughout your pregnancy can help release muscular tension and reduced swelling in hands, legs & feet. Aiding in the function of the digestive system, improving blood circulation, increasing mobility and flexibility. As well as relieving stress, anxiety and encouraging relaxation. It can also help strengthen the immune system to help prepare the body physically, mentally and emotionally for the birth of your baby.
Pregnancy massage helps aid the development of your baby. Increasing blood circulation which helps oxygen and nutrients to move around your body more freely, therefore reaching your baby. This helps with their overall health and development. So by relaxing with a pregnancy massage, you're improving your baby's growth too.
A Pregnancy Massage should be booked from your first trimester. Consult your Midwife or GP before seeking this treatment if you have any medical conditions.

Vicki started her career as a Massage Therapist at Neal’s Yard Remedies Treatment Rooms over 20 years ago, after qualifying in Holistic and Remedial Massage at the Alison Rostron School of Massage in Norwich. But over many years Vicki has gone on to qualify and gain so much more experience, learning many other different types of Massage, Reflexology, Hopi Ear Candling and even Beauty Therapy. Where she specialises in Facial Beauty Therapies - Aromatherapy Facials, Facial Waxing, Lash & Brow Tinting and Lash Lifting.
For seven years Vicki did on-site Massage Treatments at the head office of Virgin Money in Norwich. To help improve staff well-being, reduce absenteeism and help to alleviate work stress, tension and help ease muscular aches & pains, as part of their employee company healthcare benefits. Vicki also assisted hundreds of staff members that trained to run the Virgin Money London Marathon by doing regular monthly sports massages, which helped everyone of them to get over the finishing line and receive their medals.
With Vicki's vast experience and skills in many different types of therapies she offers. She always individually tailors her treatments to suit your needs, whether you want a Deep Tissue back, neck and shoulder massage together with a relaxing Aromatherapy Facial or foot Reflexology treatment. I am a Holistic Massage Therapist with a passion for supporting women’s health and well-being. Within 13 years experience I have provided massage therapy for many women for a variety of conditions - from children to those in their precious last few weeks of life. My massage career started in 2012 when I was captivated after picking up an aromatherapy book in a jumble sale, which led to many formal training courses and growing. I love to learn from each person I meet and how I can further adapt each treatment to each individual. After furthering my training in pregnancy and postpartum massage, I started specialising in women's health as I am passionate about supporting and empowering women in the different cycles of life they find themselves in. Historically speaking, women's health in society hasn't always been prioritised or understood and I take pride in being part of a service for women that respects and supports them.
