Women's Facial Waxing
Waxing is a form of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hairs from the follicle. New hair will not grow back in the previously waxed area for 4 to 6 weeks. Waxing is not suitable if you have any contagious skin conditions, open wounds such as cuts, abrasions or if your skin is red or uncomfortable from sunburn. It’s also best to avoid a waxing treatment if you’ve just had a spray tan and if you’re menstruating due to the treatment making your skin more sensitive. Let your hair grow for at least 2-3 weeks prior to your waxing treatment. A light exfoliation can help leading up to your appointment this will help to prevent ingrowing hairs in between visits.
Warm wax is thinly spread over the skin and a paper strip is applied and pressed firmly, adhering the strip to the wax and the wax to the skin. The strip is then quickly ripped against the direction of hair growth, removing the wax along with the hair.

A skin patch test is required at least 48 - 72 hrs prior to your treatment. (Even if you have had waxing before with another Therapist. Patch tests are then required every 3 months )
