Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa is a contemporary style of yoga derived from the traditions of Ashtanga founded by Sri K. Patthabi Jois in the 20th Century. Ashtanga means 8 limbs in Sanskrit and refers to the eight limbs of yoga outlined in The Yoga Sutras written by Pantajali around 2000 years ago. These eight limbs outline guidelines for living a meaningful and spiritual life. Chloe weaves in the tradition of Ashtanga yoga’s eight limbs into her classes to give focus, helping her students develop a deeper practice and understanding of the ancient lineage from which Vinyasa yoga is derived.

Suitable for all abilities, her class finds a balance between the physical and meditative power of yoga. With moving asanas, pranayama and meditation, Chloe's vinyasa flow classes build strength, improve flexibility and calm the mind.

Vinyasa is an energising style of yoga including a flowing sequence of poses. Yoga helps strengthen the muscles, improve mobility, balance and posture and relieve stress. Chloe’s classes balance the physical and meditative power of yoga to leave both the body and mind feeling refreshed and centred. This class includes breathing techniques to help establish a deeper connection to the body and find peace within.

Beginners and those with previous yoga experience are welcome. Modifications are provided to suit all abilities.

Chloe Tucker

Chloe had her first taste of yoga backpacking across Nepal and India. She went on to explore a variety of yoga styles whilst studying at university, living in Japan and travelling Asia before falling in love with the creativity and organic movement of Vinyasa flow yoga. After starting a regular Vinyasa and Ashtanga practice, Chloe soon discovered the physical and mental benefits of yoga. She believes that yoga teaches us how to live better -becoming attuned to our bodies and emotions can help equip us with tools to cope with the many demands and stresses of modern life.

In January 2019 she returned to India to train in Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Flow and is now a 200 hours accredited yoga teacher.

Suitable for all abilities, her class finds a balance between the physical and meditative power of yoga. With moving asanas, pranayama and meditation, Chloe's vinyasa flow classes build strength, improve flexibility and calm the mind.

When not practicing yoga, Chloe can be found dog walking, planning her next travel adventure or with her nose in a good book.
